Here’s my reading goal for 2022 comin in HOT! I AM going to read 40 books. Don’t doubt me. Ha! I read 16 books in 2021, which was a lot for me but fell short of my goal of 20. Having a goal last year definitely helped me become a reader though, for which I am so grateful Here are some of the books I hope to cross off my list. Full disclosure: A few of these were on last year’s list but I never got to them! Since I’m a little late on posting, the titles in bold are the ones I’ve already finished for January and February. I’m off to a great start!
- The Last Flight by Julie Clark – LOVED!
- The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave
- Down to Earth by Lauren Liess
- I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness by Austin Channing Brown – This memoir was easily the most relatable book I’ve ever read. Finished it in a day!
- Home Before Dark by Riley Sager – Really enjoyed it but that ending…?
- Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica – Read immediately. Seriously.
- The Whisper Man by Alex North – Creepy as heck!!
- The Grace Year by Kim Liggett – a friend described this as “if Hunger Games & Handmaid’s Tale had a baby!”

- Golden Girl by Elin Hilderbrand
- It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
- November 9 by Colleen Hoover
- The Perfect Couple by Elin Hilderbrand
