I headed to the lake this past Friday for a girls only weekend. We were in nonstop project mode and passed the time with New Girl, a true crime podcast, and wine. Want to see what we worked on?
Upper Living Room Before:

After:

This room is my favorite before & after so far!! We sold all the furniture (not just in here, but throughout the house). We took down all the curtains and painted the walls SW Peppercorn, the mantle and railings SW Tricorn, and limewashed the fireplace and surrounding stone trim in Romabio’s Bianco White. In person, the stone had a very pinkish orange hue that we weren’t a fan of so the limewashing was a must! We put the tv on the fireplace instead of utilizing the huge media cabinet left behind. Then we created a little nook for arts & crafts, puzzles and cards. We also spray painted the mirror white. We bought new furniture and are now just waiting on the new carpet and sectional to arrive.
Lower Living Room Before:

After:

We took down the curtains and sold the furniture. We painted the walls SW Light French Gray and the insides of the windows Tricorn. We bought new dining chairs and you can see a sneak peak of the extra long patio table and chairs! We’re waiting on the couch and looking for a small area rug.
Kitchen Before:

After:

We haven’t done much in the kitchen yet. We continued the Light French Gray in this space. We sold the table and purchased a second fridge to use for drinks (soda, water and beer) and a barcart. We’re on the hunt for a simpler wine rack and need to organize the alcohol that’s in the cabinet on the cart.
Master Before:

After:

We took down all of the curtains and purchased new furniture. We painted the walls SW Alabaster and the window trim Tricorn. The nightstands are FB Marketplace finds. In the corner where there was once a huge armoire, we added a daybed with a trundle so that the room could sleep an entire family. We just need white curtains and a couple of decorative pillows for the beds.
Additionally, we’ve painted another bedroom, bathroom, and the hallways. We still need at least one more weekend there before spring to paint the final two bedrooms and bathrooms, hang mirrors, mount a tv, and do a bit of styling. But I’m so happy with how far we’ve come in a short amount of time! I love bringing you all along for the ride on this renovation and hope you’re enjoying following along. What questions do you have?

Love it! What color is the white trim that you have in the room painted with SW Alibaster? Thanks, xo
Thank you! I’m not sure- it was already white. But the Alabaster is a soft warm white, so if you’re looking for a more crisp white that contrasts like ours, I’d try BM Chantilly Lace!
Looks great! Love your updates to the light fixtures.
Is the ceiling fan in the living room the same? I hate spending money on ceiling fans, but it’s time for updated ones in my house! Glad you’re enjoying the process and girls weekend is the way to go!
Girls weekends make it so much more fun!! The ceiling fan is the same!! We just too this ornate cover piece off of it. Made such a difference!
