- Take the trip!! You guys know I love to travel. And travel memories always end up being our favorite memories that we talk about over and over throughout the years. Create a scavenger hunt with clues about where you’re going. Gift luggage with luggage tags that tell where you’re headed. Buy a puzzle that depicts where you’re headed. Gift something that’s needed where you’re going (new swim gear, ski goggles, or snorkel gear). Have fun with it! We gifted new luggage when we surprised the kids with this trip to Mexico. 5 years later, we still talk about snorkeling in the freezing cenote filled with bats on the ceiling! Josh has gifted me with surprise trips to Chicago (we got engaged on the Navy Pier!) and NYC and we gifted each other our trip to France for our anniversary.
